Francisco-Javier Calzada-Prado is Associate Professor at UC3M’s iSchool, Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain). He holds a PhD in LIS, and most of his current teaching and research interests focus on Information Retrieval, Digital Marketing, Web Positioning and Data Analytics.
Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to work with outstanding colleagues all over the world. He was appointed JSPS Research Fellow (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) at JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute for Science & Technology) in 2015, “José Castillejo” Visiting Scholar at the School of Information and Library Science, Pratt Institute (NY, USA) also in 2015, Visiting Researcher at the Information School of the University of Washington (WA, USA) in 2011, and Visiting PhD Student at the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University (NY, USA) in 2004, among others.
